Studio B (Radio and Podcasting)

Studio B is a professional podcasting and radio broadcasting suite, designed for high-quality recordings and live productions such as the daily news program Annenberg Radio News. Equipped with industry-standard gear, this space is built for versatility. The studio is divided into three key areas: 

Book Studio B

  • Main Studio—accommodates up to six people for live or pre-recorded sessions. 
  • Control Room—manages Main Studio recordings when needed. 
  • Tracking Booth—perfect for solo tracking and voiceover work. 

With phone call and video conferencing integration, Studio B offers a seamless production experience. With proper training, students can run professional-level livestreaming or recording sessions.

  • Annenberg Students 
  • Annenberg Faculty & Staff 
  • Non-Annenberg Guests: USC students, faculty, and staff (please contact us for info) 

*Please note—all studio users must receive a 30-minute training session prior to use.

Where It’s Located: 

  • Studio B is located behind the staircase in the Annenberg Media Center: 
  • 102B – Tracking Booth 
  • 102C – Main Studio 
  • 102D – Control Room 

When It’s Open: 

  • Studio B is reservable for non-curricular use in one-hour sessions: 
  • Semester 
  • Monday-Thursday: 8 AM – 12 PM and 6 PM – 10 PM 
  • Friday 9AM-5PM 
  • Non-Semester:  
  • Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM 
  • Studio B is closed on weekends 

Note: Hours are subject to change. Be sure to schedule studio time in advance to ensure availability.
